HOWDY YALLL!!! This week was CRAZY! Lots of miracles and some crazy experiences lol!
Tuesday: GOD IS THE BEST
We were out tracting and trying to meet with inactives but no one was answering. As we were knocking one of the doors that didn't answer we turned around and sis tayco saw this girl walk into her house literally in the neighborhood over! The timing of it was crazy! We went over to her house and she answered the door and started crying! She had just left her husband of 40 years and has had such a hard life. We were able to do a house blessing and talk about trials and how much God loves us! She was so grateful and told us that her son was investigating the church before he died and would always carry a Book of Mormon on him! She said we were an answer to a prayer, we were literally dumbfounded because of all the details that went into the fact that we knocked on her door! I've come to love being rejected or the "slow days" because I either learn something important or God needed us to be in a certain place at a certain time! When something doesn't work out it means that God has something better planned!
On a different note we met a witch! Her house literally looked exactly like the witches house from brave! Miss m'am had a literally live fire going, had tons of voodoo crap everywhere... she was way interested tho so we said a prayer and taught her about the restoration and the bom. It was actually way good lol, we might bring a priesthood holder next time tho to do a house blessing. she told us all about incense and how God likes a pleasing sent, how the government is hiding weed from us because it's holy and used to be used for religious purposes... so that might be a slight issue lol but she wants us to come back!
Wednesday: MIRACLES!!! we had a bomb lesson with this guy we found! His life has been SOOO HARD! At the end he told us that we looked too happy and he wanted that! TENDER!
Thursday: ROAD TRIP!
We went and did service at the senior center and that was way hype, then we did some member visits, weekly planned then dipped to start driving to mlc... So much driving ahhhh like 6 hours round trip to Bentonville and back! Is was fun tho and way worth it! We got to stay the night at the sisters house in Springfield so that was fun! Springfield and Bentonville are both pretty big city's so it's weird going from the middle of nowhere to big and bougie city's lol!
Friday: MLC IN BENTONVILLE
MLC was so fun but it was also 6 hours long and I was dead after lol! I wasn't sure what a lot of the stuff is that they were talking about but luckily my comp is an absolute saint and has also only has 2 transfers left); so she explained a lot of stuff to me haha! I love our Mish president and his wife so much they are the best and everything he says sounds like it's straight out of a conference talk! We talked a lot about joy and the joy that comes from repentance and mish work. He talked a lot about how sometimes the repentance process can be painful at first but how there's so much joy that comes from it! Here are some solid quotes from him:
"Sometimes the burning is a blessing. Sometimes we need to feel pain to progress"
"Sometimes the cure is the cut"
" daily repentance is the burning that brings eternal joy"
Saturday: ONE COULD SAY IM A COWGIRL NOW on Saturday we went to Dixion and we went to an inactives house in the middle of nowhere! They had horses and donkeys everywhere and it was low key terrifying because if they came at us there would've been no way we would make it back to the car before they attacked us lol but they were super cute haha! We went to visit 2 of our yellow dots to see if they were actually interested or if we should let God work on them a lil longer. Before we went in we prayed that their hearts would be softened, they FOR SURE WERE!!! it was so sick the first girl let us in and we were able to teach her about the plan of salvation! We invited her to be baptized she said she would pray about it! The next girl was so sweet! She had been wanting to get baptized but was being way flaky so we were just way straight up with her and she was like bet I'm willing to do that! We had her pray for a date, now we're just praying really hard that she will do what she said she would.
Sunday: LACY'S BAPTISM!!!! guys the soldiers are so sick! Being on post is like being in a different country it's so weird but also way cool. We had fast and testimony meeting and then lacy got baptized! The spirit was so strong! Everyone there is so humble and when they feel the spirit some of them just cry because they are going through so much and are just getting yelled at constantly. They grow a testimony so rapidly! One of the soldiers in my class was telling me how during their 10 mile (one of the hard parts of their basic training they have to do) her and her friend were praying, she was reading the Book of Mormon while she was running! She was the first girl to finish and is half the size of everyone else. She said she knew it was because of her faith! It was so cool, she's on date for the 19th and I'm so hyped for her!
CHALLENGE:
Say one prayer that's just about what you're grateful for every day!
Before we go to bed each night me and sister tayco always talk about what we were grateful for that day, it's totally changed my perspective and makes me so happy!

The font on post is so funny! Guess it takes up less space though |

The creativity levels it takes to figure out how to fill the font are top notch |
