OOO WE'RE HALF WAY THERE🎵

 HOWDY YALLL!! Another week another baptism! Lol this week was so good! 

Also we got transfer calls and I'm sooo sad to be loosing Sister tayco); but SISTER MORRIS IS COMING HERE TO BE AN STL WITH ME!!!! I'm just a Lil excited if you can't tell...😆😆😆 me and Sis Morris have been in the same zone since I started my mission, she followed me to St Robert from Monett!

Monday:PDAYYYY!

Tuesday: 9 MONTHS AS A MISSIONARY 🤯 I can't believe I'm halfway done with my mission so far! It's gone by crazy fast!! We had a feeling to visit our friend Debbie and turns out it was her birthday that day and she had been having a hard week and really needed us that day! We had a BOMB lesson with her!

Wednesday: BIBLE STUDY! We pulled Coreatorres out from Bible study and taught her the rest of the lessons, it was so cool! She said she was having a hard time finding her answer that the Book of Mormon is true because everyone is always so loud in the barracks. We had her pray and take a few minutes the write what the holy ghost was telling her. She got her answer and the spirit was there so strong!! We were talking with the member who brought her to church after and her was telling us about how his family was sad when he joined the army instead of serving a mission and we explained how he is being a missionary right now, and how you don't need a tag to share the gospel! The soldiers thought that was the sickest thing ever haha! 

Thursday: MINI MIRACLES! we were meeting with a less active that just got reactivated about 4 months ago, a inactive member just happened to be at the church building at the same time (coincidence I THINK NOT)  The reactivated member was able to help answer the inactive members questions and share her experience coming back to church! God is good!

Friday: GRADUATION FOR THE SOLDIERS! Carrier and Chapman graduated); super stoked for them though! The graduations always make me want to join the army for like .2 seconds and then I remember what the soldiers say about it and I'm like Heavens no... I would die so fast. After we had a lesson with our friend we had met the day before, her 7 year old daughter said the prayer for us and in the prayer she goes " I just love God and everyone should love him too" AMEN za'lea! 

Saturday: SERVICE! 

We did lots of service on Saturday! Then we went and did a few power visits, tried to find ppl but no one answered); 

Sunday: COREATORRES BAPTISM! AHHH IT WAS SOOO GOOD!!! the spirit was so strong! After I taught a member missionary lesson to some of the soldiers and it was sooo good! They agreed to bring their friends to church next week😆

Monday: PDAYYYY! We did the Murphy challenge ( 1 mile 300 squats 200 push ups and since we can do like 10 pull ups max we did 200 sit ups then 1 mile after) I was sore for days but we got a green passion smoothie from Panera after, I would highly recommend! 

Tuesday: JIMMIE!! We went to get a drink and give someone a bom at the gas station and my when we walked out my lid to my cup flew off and Jimmie grabbed it for me. We gave him a bom and a passalong card and he actually reached out ( which is a sign that they are elect lol) we're meeting with him this week and are soo hyped so plz pray for Jimmie! 

Wednesday: MEMBER VISITS!! We had some bomb member visits in devil's elbow ( sounds scary but it's actually super pretty lol) a little girl even did our hair during the lesson 😂

Thursday: CAMPUS!!! For district council we went on campus and did a chalkboard experiment, it made me miss being in ysa so much! It was by far the funnest district council I've been to! 

Friday: THE PARK HAS SOME ELECT PPL!! We have been going to the park because it's warm outside and all the moms bring their  kids to play at the park, they are usually there for a hot minute so 12/10 for us! We met this girl and she told us how she wants a relationship with God so bad but she feels like she's too far gone, we got to bear powerful testimony of the atonement. She had so many questions and we literally soft taught her all the lessons in an hour and a half lol! She was so excited! She said we seemed so perfect and she didn't think she could ever get to that point and we were like girl we ain't perfect lemme tell ya sometimes you only see where ppl are at now not the road they had to take to get there. It made me realize that I need to stop comparing myself so much. 

Saturday: STEVE'S BAPTISM!!!! Steve is just an angel, his baptism was so good!  It was also the longest one I've ever been too but it was a good thing because he was able to share his conversion story and the spirit was so strong. After the baptism there was a massive storm and we had baseball sized hail so that was fun((: 

Sunday: CARRIER'S BAPTISM!!! The soldiers on post are popping off at sharing the gospel during the week. So many soldiers are wanting to be baptized because of that it's crazy to see how all the baptisms come when the members are hype and share the gospel. It makes me want to be hype about the gospel and share it when I get home too!! Carrier's baptism was so good, the spirit was so strong. My favorite part is watching their smile after they receive the gift of the holy ghost. You can tell that they feel the comfort and guidance the holy ghost brings. You can visibly tell in their countenance it's the coolest thing!

spiritual thought: 

Ive been studying a lot about Charity v.s fear. I was listening to a byu speech called yielding the fruits of peace and it talked about how there are 2 emotions that we can feel either love or fear. When we feel fear we compare, we criticize, we are scared to share the gospel. But when we have charity and love we see others how God sees them, we love them for who they are and see their potential, we don't compare or pass judgment, we share the gospel with them because we love them. 

It reminded me of 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

HOWDY YALLL!!!

Monday: PDAYYYY! welp there go my driving privileges... in a series of unfortunate events and our tiwi being stupid and malfunctioning  I'm no longer designated driver so as one could guess that was my pitt of the week🤧 on the bright side though we played sand volleyball with our district for a hours and it was wayy fun!! 

Tuesday: TORNADOS ARE THE WORST!!! Man I thought I was gonna die on Tuesday... so we were driving back from a service at a members and it started POURING and the sky turned green and our car almost got hit by lightning... we drove as fast as we could and hid at our members house till the storm passed, thank heavens we didn't get hit by it but there was a tornado storm that just missed us! 

Wednesday: STEVEEEE!!!! We had an inspired lesson with our friend Steve and a member in the ward we've been trying to pass him off to, it was SOOOO GOOD!! It softened his heart to being baptized into the other ward ( which we've been trying to get him to go to but his besties are in ours so tricky situation) long story short he's getting baptized next Saturday into that ward!!!! God had been preparing him for the past 40 years and he has been the most golden person I've ever taught. His wife was anti and he's taught me so much about responding to people's objections to the church! He has such a fire testimony, you would think he grew up in the church lol!!

Thursday: some tears were shed🤧

AHHHHHH still a tender subject but our friend who was on date got into anti and flipped on us in our lesson. She was being so rude and disrespectful and called us lots of not nice things lol but we were extremely bold with her and bore super powerful testimony, the spirit was so strong. We were so sad because she was progressing so much and was starting to get happier, you could tell she was just so sad now that she didn't have the spirit with her. We asked her if she had been praying and reading the Book of Mormon and she said she hadn't in a while. As much as that experience stunk I learned how absolutely vital it is to to the small and simple things daily. When we don't read the book of Mormon or pray for a few days it seems like its not a big deal but it is because when we don't do those things Satan has more power over us. It's easier to make seemingly small sins ( and we all know that it causes a snowball effect), we feel more irritated, we are more depressed.... long story short do the small things (: 

Friday: EXCHANGES! We had exchanges and I got to go with Sister Morris who's such a baller! It was so fun! We met so many elect people and it was sooo cool! We had a lesson with a member referral and her daughter and she said that we were just glowing and she wanted that, we were able to put her on date and the spirit was way strong! 

Saturday: SERVICE! We did a lot of service on Saturday. Sister tayco and sister Howell found this family yesterday and they said we could come back and help them move and share a message. So we came back and helped them move and shared the restoration while we were moving them it was way cool!

Sunday: HAPPY JESUS DAYYYYYY!!!!!!! EASTER IS MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY EVER!!! the weather's good, the colors are bomb, the best part is Jesus was Resurrected today!! And because that happened we can all be Resurrected too!! See best holiday ever, because without Easter Christmas would mean nothing ( I love Christmas too tho)! To make it even better HUNT GOT BAPTIZED!!! AHHHH he's the best, the spirit was soo strong! It's always soo cool to see the soldiers smiles after they receive the gift of the holy ghost it always makes me teary eyed!

 HOWDY YALLL!! Tbh this week we had so much opposition. I feel like it's always the week of conference that Satan gets mad lol.

Monday: PDAYYYY! we played a intense game of taco cat goat cheese pizza , my hands are still red lol. That game ain't for the weak especially if ppl have rings on💀 then we took the trip down to Bentonville.

Tuesday: MLC 🥳 MLC is so sick the revelation that happens in that meeting is so cool! We got to see the temple too and it was soo pretty!!

Wednesday: sometimes I don't like agency... we were teaching the cutest Pompeiian girl and her mom, the little girl literally reads the bom more than I do (which is a lot lol) and knows its true and wants to be baptized so bad but her dad won't let her😭 she has so much faith and was like we can just meet until I'm old enough to be baptized w/o his permission👸that was a big rip but we're still gonna teach her till her parents say we can't! 

Thursday: not the ticks💀🪲we had a lesson at the sketchyist trailer park ever... we had our lesson at our friends moms house and it was a condemned house and she's a hoarder... we had a BOMB LESSON WITH THEM THO! but half way through a felt a sharp pain in my neck , I went to scratch it and there was a tick on my hand💀💀💀 by some miracle I was able to keep it together for the rest of the lesson. But after me and sister tayco freaked out for a sec. Don't worry tho I don't have any ticks now lol. 

Friday: TORNADOS ARE THE WORST! We got put on tornado watch so we tried to stay do lots of stuff online with our friends to be safe but we got sick of it and we realized that our apt wouldn't be as safe as the church. We went to the gas station to grab some granola bars and sure enough as soon as we started paying for our stuff it started POURING and the wind was blowing 75+ mph the lights started flickering on and off and we were freaking out lol. We zoomed off to the church and hid there till it calmed down lol. Less then 30 min later it was warm and sunny 💀🧐

Saturday: CONFERENCE! I LOVE CONFERENCE!!!!!! Here's a few bomb quotes from Saturday:
