HOWDY YALLL!! This week was soooo good!! Here are some sick miracles from this week!😎🤠🫶
- KERRY: HOLY SMOKES! So on Monday everything we had planned for the night was falling through and our backups didn't feel right at all. We drove from apartment complex to apartment complex trying to figure out where God needed us but I had just the strongest feeling that we needed to be somewhere else. That morning we had said a very specific prayer that we would find someone who had been praying for us to find them, teach the doctrine of baptism, and put someone on date. We ended up knocking into Kerry, she might be THE MOST ELECT person I've met! We ended up teaching almost the full restoration at her door step, she was in tears. She told us how she had been treated horrible by people from all the churches she's gone to. People would make horrible comments about her scars from an accident); We were able to bear testimony of the savior and God's love for her. She said she felt like Joseph Smith and said she had been praying for a church with people her age to find her! We ended up putting her on date for baptism for December 28th! My comp suggested the date and she started crying again and showed us her calander app on her phone and it had a task she had put in a few days earlier to complete a spiritual goal on that day! We had a lesson with her yesterday and she told us she stayed up until 3 am reading the book of mormon and couldn't put it down. She said it filled a hole in her heart🥹🤧🩷
- RAYLEE: We had a pass off lesson with some elders in the Bentonville ward and it was so good! There was so much going on during it and so many people who were walking in and out of the convo. But it was cool to see how gradually as we shared more and more everyone became super interested and stopped what they were doing to listen to us. We were able to invite raylee to be baptized and she said yes! Please send prayers that her boss will let her have Sundays off!!
-JOY: during Sunday school some elders in the family ward called us out of class, introduced us to Joy! She's ysa and is looking for a church. We did a church tour, it was so good and the spirit was so strong! She was crying, I was crying haha! We showed her the baptismal font and taught her about baptism and the Holy Ghost, she goes "wow I would love to do that someday". We were able to invite her to be baptized and put her on date!🥳😆
-MLC REVIEW: we got to see all the missionaries! We talked a lot about specific prayers, receiving answers to prayers, being prepared. It was so funny!
- ZONE CONFERENCE: zone conference was soo bussin! Here were some takeaways:
" why would God send you to this place to teach this ppl if there were no ppl for you to teach"
"Faith doesn't move backward it moves forward"
" tender mercies don't come the way we expect or want but they do come the way we need"
" even when others don't believe in christ they see you and want to come to know him"
" We've got to go, we have people we need to teach"
❤️🔥Spiritual Thought ❤️🔥
"when we plead with all the energy of our souls for those things we so much desire; when, as Paul says, we “come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Heb. 4:16.) Prayer is the way and means, given us by our Creator, whereby we can counsel and communicate with him. It is one of the chief cornerstones of pure and perfect worship. In prayer we speak to the Lord, and he speaks to us. It is our privilege to have our voices heard in the courts above and to hear the answering voice of the Lord conveyed by the power of his Spirit."
